About

Founded in January 2021

Mission Statement:

Community Outreach for Health Literacy (COHL) is a pre-health club that provides a platform for undergraduate students to research topics relating to their career goals and to directly work on educating the local communities. Our mission is to educate the public about the significance of preventative healthcare topics that are applicable to our everyday life.

OUR GOAL:

As a member of this club, you will get to choose any healthcare-related research topic or demographic and create a research project from start to finish with your group! COHL provides a platform for undergraduate students to directly work on promoting health literacy and provide research to support organizations serving historically underserved communities in the area.

Your project is unique to your group and you are in control of what you are researching! It is a great opportunity to get started with social (dry-lab) research and build your resume!
